Alexander Cyliax, 23, is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts Public Relations degree programme at the University of Bedfordshire (UK). Before I came to the UK, I started my Studies at the “WAM – Die Medienakademie” in Dortmund, Germany.
Being a digital native, born digital, I’m interested in modern technology and its implications for society and private life. My first encounter with the mysterious internet must have happened sometime around 1998/1999. Since then not only my connection speed has risen continously (”good old” dial-up days weren’t that good, actually), but also my choice of computers (Apple) and gadgets.
Besides trying to get a nice tan by sitting in front of the screen, I like to play golf, football (the soccer one), go running or travel the world whenever time and money allow it. Another passion of mine is photography, both digital (DSLR) and analogue (35mm viewfinder, SLR and medium format).
